A story tells of a young lady who one day decided to get closer to God and to dedicate her life to Him. Making her way to church, a thought whispered that she is too young, beautiful and with so much potential ahead to dedicate her life to God now. Convinced by this whisper, she returned home and her life continued as before for a number of years. Becoming a respectable lady, one day she once again started for the church in hopes of meeting God, but the same voice whispered subtlety that she is a lady with many responsibilities and highly valued by society, such that God will only hinder her way. Once again, she returned home and her life continued without change until she became of old age. Now, being old, sick and tired, she started for the church for the third time, in the hopes that at least now she will have a personal encounter with God, but the deceptive voice told her that God does not need her old age and sickness, and to go home. Sad and discouraged she went home, and her life ended without reconciling with God.
The society we live in presents a life full of opportunities and pleasures, and paints God as a roadblock in the path of our happiness. Sadly, the most beautiful and energetic years that we have, the years of youth, are often dissipated without a purpose. Other will look to you and say that youthhood is a hindrance in doing something serious, and until you grow more you don't have much value. But the Lord through the Holy Scriptures tells you today that He can praise His name even through your youth, and that youthhood is not to be despised.
I invite you with respect and warmth to join the youth who have chosen to dedicate their youthhood to Jesus. I thus invite you to participate with us at bible studies where we learn more about God and our life on this earth. At activities specifically crafted for youth, retreats and camps where we seek God more intently; I invite you to be part of the family and church of the Lord Jesus together with us.
Through these pages you will find resources, details and information pertinent to the upcoming events. At the same time, we are ready to answer any questions you have and support you in anything we can!
I welcome you,
